Outreach
Art and society are mutually interdependent—which is why we believe it is essential to use art as a catalyst for dialogue, thereby bridging the gaps between research, teaching, and the public. In addition to lectures, publications, and media appearances, we regularly organize exhibitions, film series, and other events to achieve this goal.
This dialogue benefits students, researchers and cultural institutions. Our network of internal and external partners enables us to organise a variety of events, including lectures, exhibitions and film series. Students actively participate in these projects, gaining insights into future career paths and knowledge transfer. The expertise of IEK scholars also informs our advisory work for institutions in science, culture and politics.
